Turnover rate higher than 10%

across your organization

If your turnover rate is over 10% it indicates several negative key components. High turnover rates indicate that an employee is facing one of the following: a lack of leadership, understanding the company vision, understanding goals and how they can move up in the company, appreciation, resources or a lack of competency.

Poor Glassdoor ratings that

impact your ability to recruit

Past disgruntled employees are quick to leave poor reviews, same goes for great employees that have not been given adequate appreciation for their contribution. If your company has poor ratings you can be sure it is causing a negative effect on current recruits and turning away even your most ideal employee.

Resignations of key personnel

If your turnover includes many of your key personnel it is time to look into the overall culture of your company. This does not mean add another foosball table for the break room, or dimming the lights for a moodier effect. Your top performers are looking for a company they can be loyal to and be valued by. They leave you because they are finding it somewhere else.
